Featured Places #1 | Let’s go to New York !

Two weeks following the launch, we are still at the very beginning of the website, but there are currently more than 700 artworks to discover on the Place-to-paint. That’s really great! Let’s focus on New-York City to explore places suggested by these four artists:

From the North to the South:

#1 | Reservoir Clouds – Jessica Prior

Jessica Prior is a young talented pastel painter from New York (stapeliad.blogspot.com) She suggests a place in the heart of Central Park, from the north bank of the Jackie Kennedy Reservoir, along the Shuman Running track. See the lovely painting she made there:

#2 | The rest in central Park – Eleanor Mill

#3 | Koons Sculpture – Marc Dalessio

Marc is a talented professional American painter (www.marcdalessio.com). He has shared many places to paint and artworks on the http://www.place-to-paint.com. This one is a painting of a Koons Sculpture in the Silverstein Family Park (Barclay St, W Broadway)

Marc est un talentueux artiste professionnel américain, (www.marcdalessio.com) originaire de Florence. Il a partagé de nombreuses oeuvres et endroits sur la place-to-paint. Celle-ci est une peinture d’une sculpture de Jeff Koons dans le parc Silverstein Family (Barclay St, W Broadway)

#4 | Williamsburg Bridge – Robert Calame

Robert Calame is the “native”. He is from Brooklyn and is a painter and teacher. He proposes a painting of the Williamsburg Bridge, very nice and colorful.

Robert Calame est le natif du secteur. Il est de Brooklyn et est peintre et professeur. Il propose une peinture du Pont Williamsburg, très joli et coloré.
